Elevate Your Life: Implementation

We are in the Aquarian age. Knowledge is no longer power.

When most of us think back to the appallingly limited nutritional information that was once available- like the dreadful low fat diets that interestingly exploded in popularity just as millions started taking Prozac- we live in a time of amazing pleanty.

Whether we want to try veganism or carnivore (either are likely on good for short periods) or research what the most healthy people eat, we can do it.

Yet despite this, many still struggle with eating well. Knowledge has not been the answer.

What we need to do is IMPLEMENT what we need to do.

In terms of nutrition,. this starts with resourcing a high nutrient diet. Aiming at all times to be eating a diet that best serves you. Possible steps are-

  • Making sure your kitchen is clean and non-toxic (eg no non-stick pans).

  • Buying the best ingredients you can afford (ideally organic, wild, foraged, seasonal etc).

  • Planning your eating for the week. Taking a lunch to work every day. Having dinner pre-prepared.

  • Using only purified water for cooking and drinking.

  • Drinking only out of glass bottles.

  • Never using a microwave. No ready meals. No take aways.

  • No caffeine after 2pm.

  • Scheduling a group dinner with friends every week by Monday at 5pm.

Whatever in your life you are finding the most difficulty with, start on the implementation. Ideally fix a 3-hour slot (no interruptions) to work on this.

I advise all clients I work with to schedule 3 hours a week uninterrupted to implement their nutrition. This can provide huge results without the need to ‘diet’. It can also save money, as quick fixes like takeaways are no longer required.
