How to Start CORE YOGA REHAB

Sophie Stewart, the Founder of CORE YOGA REHAB, works with you virtually or at your residence (she is based in central London, UK). 

Sophie helps you to develop your own practice, which for almost everyone is more enjoyable than traditional physiotherapy (although it can compliment physiotherapy). The individualised support allows you to develop superb technique and the ability to engage in reflective self-healing.

Ideally, you practice your CORE YOGA REHAB first thing in the morning, six days a week, as part of your dinaharya (morning practice).  Ideally rising around 6am (if you can!) for cleansing practices, a hot oil massage and a bath/ shower, and then your CORE YOGA REHAB before breakfast (around a thirty minutes practice). This is to get you the best results.   Evening practices may be added if, for example, you need some help with sleep (bedtime is ideally 10pm!).  This sleeping pattern can give tremendous health and beautifying benefits. It also aids recovery from addiction, anxiety and insomnia.

If you cannot manage early mornings, you simply work around your schedule-Do What You Can! If you prefer accountability, you can text Sophie to confirm when you have done your CORE YOGA REHAB!

Some core issues can resolve astonishingly quickly, some take a long and consistent effort, others will need the help of surgery. Clients also see Sophie post-surgery, to avoid the same problem reoccurring. Professional athletes and dancers elevate their core function rapidly.

Clients can often fully recover from pneumonia and long covid, whereas lung conditions like bronchiectasis require long term management. Results can still be profound- clients can even develop a lung capacity ABOVE their age, which can help mitigate the effect of flares. Morning routines provide a sold foundation for self-care.

Clients with emotional issues can experience profound benefits. AVAV (Ahar-Diet, Vihar-Rest & Relaxation, Achar-Daily Routines, Vichar-thoughts) allows you to support your own recovery. Many BDD clients notice a lessening of intrusive thoughts.

Sophie will discuss progress with you and give adjustments. You will learn several movement sequences to practice. The aim is that you become independent and manage your own process.

CORE YOGA REHAB is strong but gentle and can be adjusted to clients working with lower energy levels.  (Sophie is enthusiastic about helping those with chronic fatigue.)

The good news is CORE YOGA REHAB should give you more energy.  The practice incorporates Ayurvedic principles and is individualised for your dosha/s and any imbalances. 

Note- New mothers should be at least 6 weeks postpartum and should be cleared by their doctor before beginning rehab.

And when do you cease CORE YOGA REHAB?  The invitation is that you keep up you morning practice (dinaharya) for life and that once a week you work specifically on your CORE YOGA REHAB.

Most people come to love spending this time in self-reflection and self-healing.

Health Coaching

Sophie also offers a unique health coaching service developed after decades of working with UHNWIs on their health and physical goals. 

Her aim is to help you take control of your health.

She offers the space for you to discuss your health concerns and ambitions. You create your own path for health and wellbeing.

Sophie gives feedback and can provide ongoing accountability. (For example, clients wanting to lean out- lose body fat and gain muscle- may send Sophie photos of everything they eat and drink.) She assists you in developing a practical plan.   She is non-judgemental of addiction, eating issues and heartbreak. 

Cost £75 for 55 minutes.  Online only, unless in conjunction with a CORE YOGA REHAB own location visit.
